Probable Vishing UK

Only a PSA for UK customers, it looks like there may be scammers about once more.

I acquired a call from a man with an east London-ish accent (pink flag #1) claiming to be from Binance. He stated they'd emailed me lately about an attempted log in from a unique country, requested if I'd seen the email, and so forth

He despatched me a new e-mail right away that was a password change request, and detailed the IP handle and site of where this supposed attempt was happening.

The guy was fairly nicely practiced, went in to how emails may be spoofed to make them seem genuine, and so on, and then began making an attempt to get me to Google Binance Verifier however I checked the app while on the decision and there weren't any log in attempts shown, alternate units, and so forth, which does beg the query as to why Binance would assume I have to reset my password?

It might have been a real name in fact, but the reality the guy was English, that there were no login attempts shown in the app, that his first port of call was to ship a password reset request makes me assume he was the one trying to realize entry
